Application

Pro-Xylane is a simple glycoprotein mixture derived from xylose.

Pro-Xylane has the following effects:

1. Help the skin absorb the active ingredients in cosmetics. Pro-Xylane is a kind of ether and belongs to a non-ionic surfactant. It has a remarkable ability of dispersion and emulsification. It can help other effective ingredients enter the skin like ethanol, and then be absorbed by the skin. In the early cosmetics formula, Pro-Xylane is not the main anti-aging function, but also plays the role of assisting other effective ingredients to absorb.

2. Promote the synthesis of glycosaminoglycan (GAG). GAG is one of the components of human extracellular matrix. It is like a spring, supporting our skin, with strong hydrophilicity, and can keep skin tight and full. The skin can spontaneously and continuously generate and consume this substance. With the increase of age, when the consumption rate will gradually be higher than the generation rate, the skin will gradually start aging, relaxation, wrinkles and so on. Pro-Xylane can promote the synthesis of GAG, indirectly increase the production of dermal collagen, and achieve the effect of promoting dermal repair, improving skin elasticity, increasing compactness, and weakening fine lines.

3. Promote the synthesis of type IV and VII collagen. Type IV and VII collagen are the core components that connect the dermis and the epidermis. Pro-Xylane can promote the dermis cells to accelerate the synthesis of these two kinds of collagen, strengthen the dermis and epidermis connection, fill the network of type IV collagen with glycosaminoglycan, improve the skin relaxation due to aging, and then reduce wrinkles.
