4-Hexylresorcinol is the most famous alkyl resorcinol derivative, and is an excellent inhibitor of polyphenol oxidase. In whitening, it can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase and block the generation of melanin. In addition, it can also prevent UVA and UVB damage, as well as anti-wrinkle effects.

Effect of 4-hexyl resorcinol

1. Strong tyrosinase inhibitor and strong peroxidase inhibitor: inhibit the formation of melanin and act on 6 positions of melanin formation pathway;

2. Promote the synthesis of glutathione: glutathione is essential to the skin purification process.
